Try that or iPC 10.5.6. I know it sucks but I literally searched online for weeks and burned over 10 different images to finally get a working one. Hope this helped. sraisaac
If your using a Sata DVD drive then thats why your getting the "still waiting for root device" -Possible fixes are enable AHCI, APIC set to Str3 If this doesn't work your only viable option is to use an external usb drive- I had to resort to this or buy and internal IDE DVD Drive iPC 10.5.6 with PPF5 package is your best bet. It has a ton of kexts, patches and fixes preloaded. Hope that helps. Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208845-still-wating-on-root-device-help-please/#findComment-1395007 Share on other sites
