MOCKBA80
I am running 10.6.2 on GA-H55M-S2H with i530 with only sound not working. i530 needs Anv kernel and it works only in 32bit. I installed using Hazard selecting Anv kernel. Upon first boot you need to specify "busratio=20 arch=x86_32 -v". Now to enable networking you will need RealtekR1000SL kext and to get PS2 keyboard working VoodooPS2. I used ##### from http://www.tonymacx86.com to get RealtekR1000SL. Now if I could get sound working it would be cool. Tried VoodooHDA that added bunch of digital in/outs but no sound. So I tried ALC 888 (aka HDAEnabler) - no luck either, so I did ALC888b that should be the best bet, but I couldn't figure out how to create DSDT.aml for my board. Any ideas? So are you needing to type "busratio=20" before each boot or has your patched kernel elimated that extra, annoying step? I'm still having to type it each time and I've tried everything under the sun to get it taken care of once and for all...
