Hi InsanelyMac community,

I am rather new here, but I've been fiddling with OSx86 installations for a while now. I am in the process of building a new machine, and I'm running into some problems while trying to install iDeneb v1.5.1. First I'll give you my specs.

Build:

Asus P7P55D Pro

Intel i7 860

ATI HD 4870

4GB Corsair DDR3 Memory

I am currently booting with kernel flags: cpus=1, busratio=20 -v

I am able to boot the Installation DVD completely, but when I start the actual installation process, the install hangs and then outputs lines of code over my screen. I am getting the kernel panic:

"getPHysicalSegment() out of 32b range 0x1000020000, len 0x1000, class IOGeneralMemoryDescriptor"

at the bottom of the code I get: BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task

Mac OS version: 9A581

Can anyone offer any advice, or at least get me pointed in the right direction as to what the problem might (could) be? I have been working on this for a couple of days now and I'm starting to get frustrated. If you need any other information from me, I'll do my best to get it for you.

do not use ideneb, look for iatkos v7 torrent

Ive got an Asus p7p55d-e board, similar set up except i have 3.0 usb and 6gbps sata

Follow this guide here using the iatkos distro, I havent had any luck by using any other distro with this board and my i750
