knidsrok
Would the original DSDT file I extracted and then patched have been different if I had my computer attached to the display with HDMI instead of VGA? In other words, if I'm having problems getting my SL install to play nicely with my motherboard's HDMI and DVI outputs, could this be because I didn't have them connected when I first extracted the DSDT to patch, or does it just mean I haven't hit on the proper patches for my setup yet? More bluntly yet: would going back and re-extracting my DSDT file with the HDMI attached help? Beerkex'd
No I don't think so. What kind of hardware are you talking about? Integrated video? what make/model is it? The only thing I've seen make a difference so far is the amount of installed RAM and how many cores your CPU has.
