localloadie
Okay I posted earlier about a problem (got no responses) so I used debug=0x14E from Chameleon before loading os x 10.6.2 The kernel panic I'm getting is " CPU 0 Caller 0x78c84de4: "No HPETs available... CPU(s) configured incorrectly\n" @ /SourceCache/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement/AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement-961/pmThread.c:148 Debugger called panic Kernel extentions in backtrace com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement(96.0.0)@@0x79c80000->0x79c9af I have tried deleting the AppleCPUPowerManagement.kext from apple's folder (moved it to another drive) and SL would never leave the boot screen. This problem only arises from booting from the hard disk and not the CD (I'm currently on the CD Boot disk). I do have the nullPowerManagement.kext in my /extras/extentions directory. Before I do anything, my idea is to find the actual driver and delete, but I'm afraid of causing real problems doing that. Any solutions? I did use the Blackosx installation guide on the wiki page. So nobody gets this error? Come on!
