trutruca Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 cuando: pongo al principio la resolucion de partida en 1280x1024x23a66 se cae el sonido tarjeta de video Saphire ATI x1300pro 256mb sin core image ni quartz extreme lguien sabe por que pasa esto? que solucion me podrian dar para mi Tarjeta obtener core image y quartz extreme? Don Luca Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 hola! es muy strano que la solucion de boris no funciona... ehm... so parlare molto poco spagnolo... mi trovo più a mio agio con l'inglese... se nn capisci cosa ho scritto dimmelo che lo riscrivo in inglese!!! prova a cancellare tutti i kext ati e a metterci i kext ati di Mac OS X 10.4.5 (a proposito, che versione di OS X hai?) che puoi estrarre dall'aggiornamento 10.4.5 disponibile sul sito apple con Pacifist. Dopo modifica il file Info.plist all'interno del kext ATIX1000 e aggiungi il codice esadecimale della tua scheda grafica. Che io sappia, la X1300 funziona perfettamente con QE e CI senza alcun problema. Se hai una versione di Mac OS X più vecchia della 10.4.5, ti consiglio caldamente un aggiornamento alla 10.4.6. Se c'è qualcosa che nn hai capito, dimmelo e te lo spiegherò più dettagliatamente, se vuoi anche in un altra lingua. I don't know speak english but I'll try a lot of thanks, finnaly an answer My computer: DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 ULTRA-D 2x DDR BUFFALO - 256MB 400MHZ PC3200 HD HITACHI 82.3GB SATAII don't recognized SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON X1300PRO PCIE 16X 256MB CPU AMD ATHLON 64 - 3500+ CORE VENICE the version installed in my computer is mac os x 10.4.6 goatsecx in other hard disk 1.- the first problem is I can't set my video card with QE e CI, and searching in this forum I found that still nobody can do it I tried the bori's solution and.... kernel panic!! it didn't boot maybe I committed an error but I don't think that 2.- so if I could set that I tried to change the resolution at boot whit -v "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@66" platform blah blah blah it boots with that resolution but no sound I don't know why happend that I did that for later change the boot.plist but I didn't do it 3.- may you write the same that you wrote in italian in english please?? 4.- If you know how I can set QE e CI in my card with other form please tell me how or if you know how to change the resolution PD: my english is so bad XD neither I can understand me thank you very very very much Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20762-esp-o-ita-o-por-favor-1280x1024x3266-quedo-sin-sonido/#findComment-137629 Share on other sites More sharing options...
Don Luca Posted July 1, 2006 Share Posted July 1, 2006 No problem... First thing: wipe out (delete) all the ATI Kext in your Extensions folder and replace them with the ATI kext from 10.4.5. You can obtain these by using a program called "Pacifist" and extracting them from the 10.4.5 Update (you can grab it at Apple's website). Second: once you've replaced all the kext, then you have to edit the Info.plist inside ATI X1000 kext and manually add your device ID. It's rather complicated explaining how to do this... Actually, I'm searching for an app which lets me take control of other's Mac so I can help them directly... If you cannot figure out how to do this, then hold on for a couple of days and then I'll get into your PC and solve your troubles directly.
