deadlyvirus
Hello, all. I am trying to dual boot 7 and SL on my mini 311. I have Windows already installed and would like to tack Snow Leopard onto the end of it. The only problem is I can't create an HFS+ partition for the life of me. Windows can't, Disk Utility whines about how it can't modify the partition map, and Gparted sees my whole HDD as unallocated. Help please! SOS! Artifesto
the easiest way i found is to partition everything from the mac dvd but it will not create NTFS partitions (in my experience) and the windows partition has to be created as FAT, then once mac boots. reinstall windows on the other partition (formatting as ntfs first) then after windows boots, installing EasyBCD 2 and adding mac to the windows boot manager. but that process erases everything since it repartitions the HDD you are choosing to partition in the first place.
