kdvkdv
I'm getting ready to take the plunge and build a hackintosh. I'm planning on going off of this guide on lifehacker <http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required>, but I just wanted to check to make sure that I'm on track with everything. I stuck with the same video card, mobo, and ethernet card as he lists in the guide, thinking that the other components won't make any real difference in the installation process. Am I right in thinking that? The hardware list I'm thinking of getting is posted here: <http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...Number=10281794> Any help would greatly appreciated. I'll be sure to report back about how everything went when it's all figured out and (hopefully) working. kdvkdv
Well, I built the system and tried lifehacker's guide, but I couldn't get my computer to boot off of the USB drive. (I was trying to create it on a PowerPC mac with 10.4, which may have been the problem). As a backup plan also tried a customized version that i've installed fine, but I now get an ebios error whenever I try to boot from the hard disk...
