zzmojoezz Posted January 13, 2010 Author Share Posted January 13, 2010 not getting help here so i searched google for the error, and came across this site http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.p...4391&page=6 so i tried what this guy said "your external drive has no permissions for "owner". To fix this, copy & paste the following command into a Terminal window, then press Return. You will be asked for your password. sudo chmod u+rwx "/Volumes/Dans 300G HD" That should fix it immediately - no need to log out or anything.
