Okay, I have been trying to get my hackintosh to work, so far I have had some success using the guides on this forum.

My best success was to get it to boot into retail leopard after doing an install with a boot132. I got the audio working as well thanks to a ktext I found on this forum. My issue is the video though.

During my first install I used the onboard intel graphics due to not having the 8500gt at the time. I got it up and running, booting into leopard without a problem. Powered off, installed the 8500gt a week later and tried to change the screen res after a successful boot.

No options, so I searched this forum for advice, I found some semi positive reviews of the Nvinject route. I went ahead, installed it to mixed results. So far the dvi does not work (I heard of this issue beforehand, its not a big deal), if I change the resultion, I have to wait for the computer to put the screen to sleep to for the change to take effect (I view a bluescreen the whole time).

It also does not like my TV (res is at 1920x 1200, which is an option of the card). When I hook it into the TV, all I get is a blue screen, even if I wait for the screen to be put asleep. The tv works fine on mbp, pcs, etc.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Also I have read some contradictory posts about doing a straight up upgrade to snow leopard. Some people have said all I have to do is pop the disc in and upgrade, it will run fine afterwards, some have said it will force me to reinstall all my ktexts and stuff.
