Intermittent Video Glitch - 10.6.2

I'm having a weird video glitch that never happened in 10.5.7. The screen blurs for some hundredths of a second and then it is fine again. It can be seen when reading text, the screen does not go black but looks blurry for an instant. I have disabled power saving. I do not have speedstep, I'm always running at 2 Ghz, and that's fine.

 

I am wondering that maybe other people have this problem, but are not attentive enough to catch it?

 

I have switched between:

* CoreVidia

* NVidiaEFI

* EFI String

All of them display the same behavior.

 

I deleted AppleGraphicsControl and AppleGraphicsPowerManagement kexts, but nothing improved.

 

Any hints?

Inspiron E1505

Core2Duo 2.0 Ghz

4GB RAM

NVidia 7300 Go

 

Running Snow Leopard 10.6.2 in 32-bit mode.
