My HACINTOSH halted during the process of upgrading from 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 at the stage of system optimization closing to finish up installation. Then after I shut down the power and reboot, I only see the white screen with Apple Logo and computer automatically reboot after a few minutes. My computer is Samsung X10 with Pentium M processor, which has only SSE2 and video card is NVIDIA Geforce 4 Go 440 64VRAM. Anyone knows how to solve the problem? Millions of thanks.

P.S. The 10.4.7 update is directly downloaded from Apple website

You cant update from the official 10.4.7 update because it replaces the hacked parts of your hackintosh. look at http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=20644&hl=

for upgrading a hackingtosh to 10.4.7

first you have to re-install 10.4.6

better you read the forum before trying those things :smoke:

You can solve the problem by getting your head out of your behind and realizing that you are NEVER going to be able to download and install a system update directly from Apple for your hacked computer. Any update that touches critical system files is going to break your computer, end of story. Use some common sense next time.
