villaan Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Hi all - I'm hoping someone out there can help me! I bought the AVerTV HDTV Volar Max USB TV tuner card for my OSX box (model H826). I downloaded the most recent software and drivers from the AverMedia site and when I start the AVerTV software it says "WARNING Cannot Find Device" When I open the System Profiler and look at the list of USB devices it does show up. Any suggestions of troubleshooting steps I could try? I'm at a total loss. I figured latest software from the website would to it... Thanks in advance! gylgamesh5 Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 I had the same problem. The device worked on my MacBook Pro but not on my Mac Pro. I remembered that I had made a change to com.apple.Boot.olist to force my Mac Pro to boot in 64-bit mode. I changed the preference on a hunch andit worked.
