Okay, first time post here, long time reader.

I recently downloaded the flat image of Leopard that you 'write' to disk X and boot from it when you restart, I wrote the image to my external HDD and it boots fine without errors. When it loads up into OS X after saying "loading Darwin something something" I'm presented with the Apple screen and then after a few seconds the little loading icon comes up underneath it.

I waited for about an hour and nothing changed, the loading icon wasn't frozen, so it must have been loading something, right?

I just downloaded iATKOS v7 and have a different error resulting in my computer rebooting, check the below post.

Computer specs-

Mainboard : ASUSTeK Computer Inc. M51Va

Chipset : Intel PM45

Processor : Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T9400 @ 2533 MHz

Video Card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650

Physical Memory : 4096 MB (2 x 2048 DDR2-SDRAM )

If you need any other specs let me know.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bump.. Really need some help :D

There is a boot screen that should come up and it begins to countdown from 10 or something on the very right hand side of the screen. You have to press F8.

It will then present a command prompt

boot

Just type -v and press enter.

Sounds like you are at the same stage as me. Mine keeps hanging at the end of the boot. Won't go into Mac OSX. I have an Asus M51sn

The option to press F8 doesn't come up, I know what it looks like.

I downloaded iATKOS v7 and tried installing it via DVD, I got the verbose mode up but it gets to a certain point and quickly reboots my computer before I can read it.

I'll try and upload a video of what happens so someone with a good eye can try and read it :)

EDIT: Okay, I have a screenshot of the video I took of where it comes up with the verbose mode.

If anyone wants the whole video, just ask.
