Hi, I'm still working on making my Snow Leopard more workable for myself. And there're several issues I need to fix and sorry I couldn't figure them out on my own. Any helps will be so appreciated.

My PC:

i7 920

MSI X58 Platinum SLI

2GB DDR3 1066 x3

EVGA Geforce GTX 280

1TB x2 RAID - Intel ICH10R Port

1.5TB SATA2 - JMicron Port (GPT, the disk where Snow Leopard is installed)

I booted the installation disk with Chameleon RC4 in my External Hard Drive. Here're the kexts I used for installation:

fakesmc

JMicronATA - Since the RAID system couldn't be recognized by SL,I put the Snow Leopard disk onto JMicron Port.

OSXRestart

NVenabler 64 - The monitor will be totally no signal without the driver.

64 bit enabled. Then I tried to modify DSDTDSDTinfo.zip(extracted by Everest since the APCI Patcher couldn't successfully do it with MSI AMI BIOS) with ACPI Patcher and DSDTSE. Everything worked really well except those 2 things:

Built-in Audio(ALC888)

VoodooHDA works. But the biggest problem is there's no Audio Info in System Profile, which could stop Avid Media Composer from launching.

Tried to use modified AppleHDA found from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=188349

But there's no sound from any ports even though there's Built-in Audio info in System Profile:

Tried to modify the DSDT. But again, there's no Audio Card info in the original DSDT file. So it didn't work if I inserted the HDEF manually.

Here's the hardware info without any enablers about Audio:

SATA:

JMicron.kext works fine. However, the Drive is shown as ATA. Any way to fix that?

Sorry about my pickles and my english. I'm trying to get Snow Leopard working as better as I can.

Interesting issues. I was able to get my nearly identical system set up with rebel EFI back when it was still around. I'm trying to do a new install on it, and am having some issues as well. You've managed to get much farther then I have though. I'll try applying your methods and see if I can get any farther. As far as sound goes, I would reccomend getting a usb sound card? Relatively easy and cheap work around. Your english is fine by the way! I just think most people use gigabyte boards in their hacks, so there isn't much info for the msi boards. If you've made any progress since, let me know!
