Problems with Kalyway 10.5.2 install - newbie :(

Hi guy's

 

I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on a new hard drive, i've bought myself a hard drive swap caddy, so i can change my system hard drives, rather than dual boot. My kalyway installed fine, until i updated quicktime by mistake, and it rebooted, and i was presented with the "NTLDR is missing, press ALT+CTRL+DEL to restart". So i quickly swapped to my XP drive, which gave the same error. however if i press F8 on the motherboard start up to pick the boot up device and select the hard drive, it works fine.

 

I've tried to sort this out using my windows installation, but i've had no luck, can anyone suggest any new alternative idea's, rather than alter bios, replace ntdect etc?

 

Secondly, i don't quite grasp how i'm suppoose to find and install the drivers for my nvidia 260 gtx, i've read though the posts on the forums, but they all seem to be a million and one different methods, and i cant find the right files either. Can someone please point me in the right direction for a newbie guide and maybe the files i need for my gfx card?
