Bongo Bonobo III
(oops, please excuse the multiple posting) Following on from my earlier post, I tried installing using iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal and it worked first time, no hassles. Which was nice Wouldn't mind updating to 10.6.* tho, so my original request for any tips/info/help/suggestions still stands. Cheers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was wondering if anyone had successfully installed Snow Leopard with a Xeon (Kentsfield) and LGA 775 mobo...? (or something similar) I've tried, oh lordy have I tried, but reached the end of my tether. Almost. I end up with a panicking kernel. I am an old hand with PeeCs but a n00b with Macs. Exact specs are: XEON X3220 Gigabyte GA-EP45T-EXTREME 4GB Corsair (2X2GB KIT) DDR3 1333MHZ XFX GeForce 9500GT 1GB Western Digital 500GB Caviar Black SATA-II 32MB One way or another they appear on the HCLs; I would be happy with a functioning 10.5.* install at the moment. I've scratched around looking for answers and [probably] poorly misinterpreted the panic errors. SO, just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any guides/resources, or indeed just to confirm that you have successfully installed using similar hardware.
