bhaveshbp Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 I have the kalyway 10.5.2 installer and I can boot from it. I get into the installer to the point where it asks you for the destination. I then launch Disk Utility to format my HD, but I cannot do anything from inside of disk utility. Disk utility reports "This drive has reported a fatal hardware error to disk utility" for my hard drive. I am pretty sure there is nothing wront with my hard drive because I was able to install Ubuntu just fine a few days earlier.
