Extracting Cider from the Sims 3

Hi there. I've got a legit copy of TS3, and i was wondering how i can customize it to run the non-mac game Race Driver GRID, and also NFS Shift.

 

Do i just edit the plist file and copy the stuff over? or do i need to change a lot of other things..

 

I want to use TS3's cider because its a relatively recent version of cider and i think it supports Shader Model 3.0, which is needed for GRID and Shift.
