Also are there any parts on there with compatibility issues that i need to reconsider. Also any suggestions would be nice on replacements for said incompatible parts. Im new to the whole OSx86 scene but i've been using macs for a while....so treat me like a newbie thanks in advance, james Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203573-building-a-new-machine/ Share on other sites
Logicpro9_user
you would be better off getting a real mac mate! the whole point of hackintosh is to have osx running on a normal pc and NOT paying apple prices! If your going all out with parts.... get a real mac..less hastle! works better! trust me i have a G5 and Mac Book pro along with my hackintosh (see my sig) the G5 is much better than the hackintosh, the hackintosh runs 100% solid! but its a risky buisniss updating! you ust dont know if its gonna cause problems or not! so if you are going to spend this much on a hackintiosh get a real mac! plus you can use windows 7 on it also! my hackintosh cost me $399 all in! My macbook pro cost $1200 this is my G5...
