Hi there!

I've got a problem. I have no sound with the flash plugin. e.g. when is play a video on video.google.com i see the movie but i don't here a sound. the problem happens with firefox 1.5.0.4 intel and Safari.

Also when i install the ppc flash plugin and run firefox with rosetta there's still no sound.

Otherwise i have no problem with sound.

has anyone got the same problem?

just go to video.google.com to the top 100 and try "barbie girl" if you here something.

greetings, bliss

It's a known problem with Safari and other mac browsers. That's why the mac version of google video player comes up first when you access the google page. It was designed because macs don't have good support for the online player. Just click download for the video and it'll automatically open up GVP.app. Alternatively, you can select iPod video format and download/play in quicktime.

hey thanks for the answer, but i managed the problem.

its a known problem and i found an answer in a german mac forum:

In Ulilities->Audio Midi Config

You have to set the build in audio output to 44100.0 Hz and everything works perfect.
