I am not sure what trigger this, but while using the computer, like surfing internet, I got this panic

panic(cpu 2 caller 0x4b2442): "sbflush; sb 0xab2e8bc so 0xab2e8bc cc 0 mbcnt 8704 mb 0x7de3e100 mbtail 0x7dbc4800 " "lastrecord 07de3e100\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1486.2.11/bsd/kern/uipc_socket2.c:1233

Debugger called: <panic>

Backtrace (CPU 2), Frame ; Return Address (4 potential args on stack)

0x8289bdb8 : 0x21b2bd (0x5cf868 0x8289bdec 0x223719 0x0)

then there are more of these seemingly random codes to me.. i can type it out if it is needed to fix my problem

I happened before when I play music with itunes and I thought itunes was causing the problem.. but now just using the computer causes this panic.

I am using 10.6.2 booting with USB thumb drive, using Chameleon 2 RC3 + PC EFI 10.5 on Gigabyte x58 UD5 motherboard

the OS works fine, just that this panic comes out about once a day.

Any idea what causes it or how to fix it?

Boot into 64bit mode for 24 hours and see if you still get the KP.

This worked for me, computer is now 100% stable, Transmission used to KP the computer all the time, as well as some other random KPs. Also my computer sleeps now. A friend who has an EX58 UD5 board had the same problems and this solved it too.

I originally didn't boot into 64bit mode because at the time of installation there was no 64bit ethernet and sound kexts.
