Rhapsody Guru
Hello gentlemen: Here are the specs of the PC I intend to install Snow Leopard on. I have the retail DVD and intend to use that if possible. Motherboard: Biostar MCP6P-M2+ Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 @ 2.6 GHz Memory: 4 GB DDR2 PC-6400 RAM @ 800 MHz (Generic) Hard Disk: SATA Seagate Barracuda 750 GB HDD @ 7200 RPM Video: PCIe - NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT I use the onboard ethernet and onboard Realtek audio chip. Let me know if I can do this on a vanilla install and the instructions to do so. If not, what OSx86 distribution should I get? Thanks! Rhapsody Guru
You are kidding, right. Vanilla install on an AMD processor???Maybe more research, less posting. Probably should have mentioned if there was a drop in replacement kernel like Voodoo. And please... I am tired of the rhetoric. Just answer politely next time or don't bother to answer. I already did my share of research and decided to post.
