viperfx Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 I need help to safely remove osx86 from my pc. I have installed it using a CD, i used the chameleon boot loader. However i hardly ever use it and i want to remove it, and just have my vista 64 bit on my PC. I want to install my old vista boot loader back, and use that as well. Please can you guide me on how to remove mac and replace the chameleon boot loader. I have mac on a seperation partition thats 50 GB of my 300GB HDD. First partition has vista 64 bit, and second is mac. Thanks. Restart and remove the 'Hackintosh' partition with Vista's built in partition tools. I tried that recently, it said that the volume or disk was corrupt. I dont know how to fix it. viperfx Posted December 15, 2009 Author Share Posted December 15, 2009 Thank very much. What i had to do was go to the install of vista, the bit where you select partition. Remove the mac partition, since it was not NTFS it was making the harddrive unrecognisable. So i remove the partition. Then used startup repair. Thanks again.
