Warped88
I can't figure this one out. I had leopard installed fine booting with Chameleon from the hard drive. But, this was done with by bios in IDE mode. As I was trying to install SL and the installer wasn't picking up my hard drives, I wiped everything and started fresh in AHCI mode. Now, after the reinstall of leopard, I can only boot from my USB thumbdrive which has Chameleon on it due to my SL install attempts. If I try to boot from the HD, I get a Boot0: error. I downloaded Chameleon 2 RC4 and installed that according to the readme over my current thinking that may help, but I still have the same problem. Any ideas? Thanks Well, I guess it's a system thing for me. I just read over at the Chameleon boards that others have this problem. My bios needs to be set to RAID (ICH9 chipset)in order for AHCI to be active (no array, though). And they say that's not supported. But, I can boot off the thumbdrive. Very weird. EDIT: *sigh* I always get something to work AFTER I post a question. reinstalled Chameleon for the second time and now it all works. sorry guys.
