I personally hate those spam posts, especially when they give out {censored} information and put up a guide for using a Windows Application.

 

So this is what you should use to rip from DVD to mp4.

 

Handbrake

 

It's a free application, it will always be free as it's Open Source, and it's really simple to use. So simple in fact, they don't need to give you all the crappy screenshots and walkthroughs of the other one.

 

As we've all Hacked OSX onto our PCs, we probably all know about Handbrake, but some people might not know about it.
