nerdocrat
I installed iPC 10.5.6 on a Dell Dimension 4600 with the following kexts: Voodoo Kernel 9.5.0 Intel ICHx SATA Drivers Chipset AppleSMBios ToH AGPGart 2.7.1 (using an ATI x1650 graphics card) Seatbelt.kext.10.5.5 1-CPU Fix All Applications I installed a 10.5 retail DVD and used OSX86 Tools to back up my kexts. I then used EFI Boot Installer 3.1 install them to the second hard drive, with the retail installation. When I do, the hard drive won't boot. Instead, my computer reboots as soon as I see the Apple logo. I checked the install.log file from the EFI BI, and I get a lot of errors. I attached the file for others to check. What should I do? install.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201647-efi-boot-installer-problem-with-105-retail-dvd/ Share on other sites
nerdocrat
For a while I took a break from this and now I'm going to take another crack at it. But really, what am I missing? I've got the retail copy installed. How do I get my kernel + kexts where I want them without problems? I know I'm a noob, and I'm probably missing something really obvious, but what the $@#& is it?
