MimixXx
Hi every one! I am trying to do my second Hackintosh and this time on a notebook. (HP dv7 2110 :Processor Athlon X2 QL-65; Graphic Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD4530;RAM 4Go ) Yes I know the mobility is still not compatible yet. Here is my problem: I install iAtkos v7 (without kext for the graphic card) , then it boots, the apple is spinning .. then normally there is a video "Welcome, Bienvenue, Wilkommen..." Bug I have Pixels on grey screen. Question is : Can I have a picture with no graphic card and it doesn't work because I chose wrong drivers? So i will can install some Kext on the desktop Or I won't do anything of this notebook :'( :'( :'( Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201454-iatkos-v7-on-a-notebook/ Share on other sites
MimixXx
Ok I answer me ^^ It was because they were still some radeon .kext until I didn't install anyone. And to remove them I used the terminal in the live-cd of iAtkos v7 (because F8 doesn't work at the begginning) Yes!! I did it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201454-iatkos-v7-on-a-notebook/#findComment-1354802 Share on other sites

I want to try installing the system again and get it working, what drivers and patches do i need to select to install it because i completely forgot and it wont go past the apple splash screen :/ And I am new to all this lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201454-iatkos-v7-on-a-notebook/#findComment-1366273 Share on other sites
MimixXx
Install with iatkos v7 choose drivers but NO VGA then at the end it reboot because the installation is a sucsess Boot again on your iatkos DVD, open the terminal in the utility, and type... cd /Volumes/*nameofyourvolume*/System/library/Extension/ rm -rf ATIRadeon.kext rm -rf ATIRadeon8500.kext rm -rf ATIRadeon9700.kext rm -rf ATIRadeonx1000.kext rm -rf ATIRadeonX2000.kext rm -rf ATIRNDRV.kext rm -rf ATINDRV.kext Press enter at each end of line *Warning* if your volume partition has a space in it, it won't work eg: "MAC OS X" not good ^^ Then reboot and it's work! PS: To have a better resolution install this kext with osx86 utility http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...=190586&hl= thx to Dong for the kext Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201454-iatkos-v7-on-a-notebook/#findComment-1366318 Share on other sites
tzag
I did that but after rebooting and loading the os, it comes up with a different splash screen this time, with a silver apple logo instead and nothing else, the numlock and capslock lights on my keyboard just randomly flash in a pattern and stays like that. Is this supposed to happen? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201454-iatkos-v7-on-a-notebook/#findComment-1366335 Share on other sites
