Cawthorne
Ok for crimbo my parents are giving me £200 and i'll probably put in something like £300-500- maybe £700 if its worth it, extra because i really want something special, I'm tired of my ****ing slow computer messing my games up! I do have some basic requirements, apart from that i'm open to suggestion! 1) It must be mac osx86 compatible, because i have it on my current p.c. and it's just nicer to look at than windows (although i do all my hacking in my windows partition anyways ), although it is a bit {censored} because it has a lot of compatibility issues. List of mac osx86 cmpatible parts! http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.2 http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.6 http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.7 It doesn't matter from which link as long as it is fully working on any 10.5/6 leopard 2) I would prefer it to have a quad-core, seeing the amount of money I'm going to spend and a via chipset for xbox 360 flashing . 3) and preferably an intel motherboard, because it is generaly faster/ more compatible with mac stuff. 4) Also i would like an ATI graphics card, because i've heard they're better than Nvidia but in not 100% So what i would like from you are suggestions for best motherboards, processors, graphics cards, for gaming, mac os and generally doing stuff! P.s. i do have 2 DDR2 2GB ram chips, but is it worth getting DDR3 or even more size wise? or should i leave it? Thanks!
