Hi at all, I try to install Snow on my desktop but I get this error: sill waiting for root device.

This is the result when i start in verbose

i try to instal snow by USB (Guid USB, restore of snow image and change osinstall for MBR)

 

when I see this error I change USBfamily and masstorage with the kext of ideneb leo 10.5.8 but nothing

can you help me?

If I change from USB2 to USB1 the installa start but without the mouse.

how can enable USB2?

HEllo

 

Waiting for root device is a very well known error.

 

IT's a post install problem ??

 

If yes, it means that you forgot to tick a driver for yours HDD(s)

 

So.. It they are in ATA or SATa : AHCI Driver.. If they are in IDe: look for one in the CD..

 

Tell if it's ok :P

hi, the problem is before install, I try some IOATA (of ideneb 1.5.6 that work fine on my pc) kext but nothing.

As i write if I turn off USB2 and I use USB1 the install proced without error, then why is a problem of sata (i ask this because i'm a newbie)
