Bubu77 Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Hello, I installed Snow leopard 10 days ago. After few search, I solve few problems (sound...). I still can't shut down my computer: the fan remains ON... That's why I tried i installed CHUD.pkg and then PowerOff fix. I also tried OpenHaltRestart.kext I still can't power off or reboot my computer correctly (I need to keep power button pressed 5s to power off when screen is black) and now, my CPU is not recognized anymore. I can read: "processor 3Ghz unknown" and before I was used to read "Core Duo 2 3ghz". Do you have any idea to reactivate the second core? If you also have a solution for the power off/ reboot problem.....
