I tried with iATKOS V7 and iPC PPF5,but i have failed .With iATKOS,my HD was not detected . With iPC,when it have just loaded , a problem has occurred : My specs : AMD Turion 64x2 TL-58 Memory 2GB NVIDIA Geforce Go 7150 Graphics (MCP67 ???) Broadcom Wireless 4311 Ricoh 5on1 media card reader Ethernet nForce HDD 120Gb ATA (Compaq presario V3614au) ...So,who can help me ,or anyone has laptop like that,please show me step by step to install ! Please help me ,i'll be very thankful !!! delphinus87 Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 well, I'm not a deep techie and code writer, so my advice is more practical. I tried tone of Distro's before I got one that just worked. I tried iATKOS, Kalyway, and iPC and got plenty of EBIOS read errors and Kernel Panics like yours. I finally got ahold of iDeneb v1.4, which worked like a charm, for me at any rate. As with your HD being missing, it is quite common for your installer to not detect SATA drives. There are a few ways to get around this. one is trial and error, juggling KEXTs and restarting a ton, or there's just installing onto a USD hard drive, which are pretty cheap atm. I just got a 500GB for $50 at bestbuy.com Like I said, I'm not someone who will analyze code and tell you whats wrong.
