Terenc3
I'm on SL 10.6.2 (Proudly!) I am using an external display (primary) thru HDMI, together with my laptop display (secondary), in Extended View. Now if I remove my HDMI cable, I was expecting SL to switch the main display back to my laptop's. However, currently removing the HDMI makes no difference. Any ideas on this? Next is I tried another way round, which is to first mirror both display then remove. However, when I switch to mirror view, my laptop displays only a solid blue screen and nothing else. Switching my laptop display to primary makes no difference. So now if I were to go portable, I would have to reboot, remove HDMI and boot back to SL. Anybody any ideas??? =) Maybe I should also state that: 9600MGT on NVDarwin v1.2.5 and NVEnabler_64 kext. HP dv5 Laptop, 15.4" LCD w/ Dell 24" Panel. Thanks! grafikkid
Here is one option: System Preferences > Display > "Detect Displays" You could just keep system preferences in your dock to make it even faster.
