rik81
Still here I have OSX on it now but no sound also I can boot unless I put -x when I dont do that I saw when it was booted up in verbose it would stick on the screen with all the commands but I would have a curser and then the pin wheel. So how do I uninstall the video driver and install a new one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200651-osx-on-a-gateway-netbook/#findComment-1354558 Share on other sites
Markrtoon
Still here I have OSX on it now but no sound also I can boot unless I put -x when I dont do that I saw when it was booted up in verbose it would stick on the screen with all the commands but I would have a curser and then the pin wheel. So how do I uninstall the video driver and install a new one Boot up, and install these, Ik this was a long time ago! http://myhpmini.com/forum/download/file.php?id=213 If you get a blue screen, try waiting, plugging up an external monitor, or starting up with -x -v. IF that doesn't work you can install Kalyway, and select the Intel GMA950 drivers, then you'll probably get a blue screen on bootup. If you've got an external monitor, plug that in and see if it resolves. If not, then you can try and boot it and wait, that worked for me, one time, I was installing, and it finished, and usually it stays at that blue screen at boot up, but I was gone a long time, and when I came back, it was at 1024x600 resolution.
