kassette
I've just downloaded and installed iLife 06 on my following system, My Mac: HP t680a CPU:Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.0ghz with HT(SSE, SSE2) CHIPSET: Intel 848P OS: Mac OS X 10.4.5 [Myzar Install] | Windows XP sp/2 | HDD:160 GB - hda1/HP Recovery Partition, hda2/Windows XP, hda3/Mac OSX GPU:128mb nVidia GeForce FX5200XT running @ 1280x1024x32 @ 60Hz RAM: 512MB 400DDR SDRAM I've also just correctly installed and setup the MacVidia driver and kext so my graphics card is working correctly. The problem that I'm having is firstly I just want to be able to use the fullscreen fading/musical photo presentation in iPhoto, but whenever i hit play the presentation starts but the pictures do not move smoothly (infact they hardly move at all) accross the screen and I have to quit out. Secondly when using iMovie or iDVD the videos will not play properly or smoothly accross the screen. Infact they tend to lock the programs up to become unresponsive. Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done to get these programs working just like on a real Mac ??? Cheers!!! ampTK
That's because you don't have Core Image. NP_'s drivers don't dive CI support... yet You can improve your situation on iMovie and iWeb by modifying the /resources/defaults.plist file inside the app select the app and right click for contextual menu, select show package contents navigate to /resources/defaults.plist and open it with TextEdit change the value of sfacceleratedcanvas to true: sfacceleratedcanvas /False Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20054-ilife-issues-iphoto-imovie-hd-idvd/#findComment-131966 Share on other sites
