elstevodiablo
Hey guys, I'm new here so forgive me if this isn't posted in the right area. I'm having trouble installing OSX, it goes to the screen to install where it asks me to click the arrow button but the problem is my keyboard and mouse don't work. Anyone know how to fix this? elstevodiablo
I'm trying to install leopard desktop I'm using a variety of guides, basically I just set up a fat32 partition and set it as a primary. And what do you mean by chipset? Onboard graphics? And I'm not using a USB mouse or keyboard, so maybe this is it? Also my PC Specs are as follows: AMD dual core @ 3.1ghz Nvidia 9800 GTX+ 3gb RAM partition I'm installing on is 20gb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200287-trouble-dualbooting/#findComment-1347343 Share on other sites
elstevodiablo
It seems that the USB is the problem then, is there any way to make the PS2 mouse and keyboard work? Or can I only do that after the install, and yes I was the setup screen. What do you mean by distro? Do you mean who patched it? If that's the case Jatkos v7 And my chipset, well I'll have to get back to you on that, I THINK it's a Nvidia 630 or 610i but I'm not positive. elstevodiablo
yeah from the looks of it it's because of the lack of USB mouse/keyboard, I'll try it with my neighbors mouse and keyboard when he gets home and I'll let you know. Can I install PS2 drivers once OSX is installed? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200287-trouble-dualbooting/#findComment-1348040 Share on other sites
elstevodiablo
Alright, I installed it, but once it was installed I got to the bootloader and it didn't seem to want to work (went to the appe logo then it stopped), and I also realized that I couldn't boot into windows after so I had to reinstall everything. I tried reinstalling mac but this time it didn't work for whatever reason. And after some reading after reinstalling windows I realized that there are specialized instructions to duelbooting. Also when it went to the loader and it didn't work it said something like "Can't find root" or something like that, pretty much it couldnt find my HDD. I will have all the specs up tomorrow as I messed up windows so I don't have the program for it, I have the mobo from an HP a1268c if you really want to know. Also I want to say thanks for all the help, I know I should have researched more sorry for being so difficult haha.
