remotestation
I had a Nvidia (die) and have a spare Video Card...Nvidia 6800 PCIe or Quadro NVS 295 I would like to use... But I get a Kernel Panic now and have to reboot... How do I clear cache? or boot in safe mode to make changes to the KEXT ??? -x causes KP -s brings me to a prompt...then what? Or can I boot DVD then goto Terminal to FIX?? reset so I can boot into OSX and the use NVdarwin? inject?? or is there something better at this moment? Thanks *** Update *** found this? Boot and get the boot prompt with the F8 key, type -s and enter. This will get you to the single user mode. Type the following : mount -uw / rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/NV*.kext reboot This got me back into OSX...now just have to figure out how to get my Resolution up to 1920 X 1200...
