relo
Hey guys, just a quick question regarding something i cannot for the life of me get my head around I have two OSX distributions installed (each on a separate HDD) One being 10.6.2 Snow Leopard (usind D_D ex58ud5 guide) the other being Kalyway 10.5.2 Leopard Now in Kalyway my airport works perfectly it recognized my Broadcom BCM4321 automatically and of i went, now in Snow Leopard its a different story I have tried every possible thing (i can come up with) to get it to work, now im not very familiar with OSX architecture so I assumed the following: -If my WLAN worked in Kalyway then simply get the IO80211Family.kext and replace it with the one in Snow Leopard and it should work....? but it doesnt, I do see the card in AirPort now but i cannot turn AirPort ON, Network Diagnostics didnt help either. Would anyone care to shed some light on this issue? N.B. I have used the Script to install all the Broadcomm device IDs in info.plist so i dont think thats the issue Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200159-airport-wlan-bcm4321-broadcom/ Share on other sites
