HAVEC Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 I just ordered a Q9550 and 4 Gigs of G. Skill PC8500 (Newegg). I assume that I can just go ahead and plug these in and the Hackintosh will boot right up and recognize the new hardware without having to reinstall the V.3 extra package or anything like that? I got tired looking at my old E6600 2.4/3.0 and PC5400 RAM sitting in such a nice machine.
