Fuse
Hi guys, I have just recently found this site and it is a great help. A few hours ago I had no idea installing MacOS on a PC was possible! I hope I'm posting this in the right section, and sorry for the noob questions. I recently purchased the XPS M1710 from Dell. I'm wondering if I am able to install Mac OSX 10.4.6 on it. I obtained two versions of it just to be safe, one is called Jas, and the other GoatsecxDVD. Here are my computer's specs: Intel® CoreTM Duo Processor T2600 (2.16GHz, 2MB Cache, 667MHz FSB) 1GB SHARED DC DDR2 SDRAM 677MHZ,2 DIMM SND BLSTR AUDIGY ADVCD AUDIO 100GB 7200RPM 512MB NVIDIA 7900 GTX I know that there are three basic requirement for running MacOS, but I'm really unsure on how to go about looking those up. I really just need to be pointed in the right direction. If you guys could let me know which version of MacOS to install, providing I can install it, and provide me to a link for a guide on installing it I would be very greatful. Thanks in advance! Suser
No it doesn't work. Tried 10.4.8. No sound, no decent video support, no wireless and no wired network. Basicly worthless, not even necessary to spent time on it.
