My specs work now or no?

im really considering getting a macbook to be able to use both os's but i want to give it another sporting chance/try sooo help prevent me from selling my pretty good desktop pc for a small macbook...

 

i installed osx perfectly with 10.4.1 awhillle back when it was all first available to do..

i had no audio and no ethernet and my resolution was stuck at 1024x768

 

my specs:

• AMD Athlon 64 3200+ ( no sse3 but luckily sse2 )
  ATI all-in-wonder Radeon 9700
  2 hdds ... a 250 and a 40 IDE
  1 gig of ram
  NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller ( i have a gigabyte wireless card too, but i would prefer not to use wireless )
  Realtek AC97 audio
  motherboard: Gigabyte nForce 3 250 ( exact model GA-K8NS )

would it work now? with some patches maybe? .. with the new 10.4.6 which i heard fixes some amd problems..

2 hdds ... a 250 and a 40 IDE Since you state that the 40GB HD is IDE, I'm assuming the 250GB HD is SATA...IDE should be fine, but I don't know about SATA on nForce3

well i didnt really mean that only the 40 was ide.. boththe 250 and the 40 are ide

and as for the internet.. did he make one for the nvidia network controller or the wireless card?

 

scratch that.. found that you were talking about the network card from nvidia..

now to see if it works for nforce 3 also since all i see is talk of nforce 4 on the topic
