Marko Grcic
Ok guys i'm new in this forum, only recently had the time and patience to try and install Leopard on my pc... After a few days of experimenting, and reading all about different hardware types, what patches should i use, fixing multiple kernel panic's and issues, i finaly did it... I installed Leopard on my third partition, on sata hdd (320Gb)... My partitions go as following : #1. FS=NTFS Size:25GB Data:Installed Windows 7x64, and some programs #2 FS=NTFS Size:260GB Data:Games,Music,Pictures,Videos and some programs #3 FS=OsX Size:20GB Data:Installed Leopard Keep in mind that #3 was created from my second partition, using windows 7, and then formated in Leopard installation process, via Disc Utility.. Now.. My Windows 7 won't boot (which is normal, as Leopard installation put part #3 as active, and kinda messed up windows boot process), but I'm not worried about that, as i know how to make my windows partition active and bootable again. My MAIN PROBLEM is that i can't boot Leopard without iDeneb dvd in the drive.. When my iDeneb dvd is not in the drive, i get error saying something like "Disk Boot Error : Insert Proper Boot device and press any key"... Now my HDD is set as primary boot device, but it's like Darwin Bootloader is not on it, and i need to run it from instalation dvd (note:If i press any key, it takes me to installation process, but if i don't press anything, darvin boots up my installed Leo) Any help would be greatly appreciated, cus I'm kinda stuck with this... I rly don't know what to do.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199817-cant-boot-my-leopard-without-ideneb-dvd-in-the-drive/ Share on other sites
