Evil_elf
So... A few days ago I was still wondering how to do this but having done some research helped me getting my dual boot Windows 7 and osx.:-) Now I have Iatkos 10.5.6 installed and recently connected my belkin usb to get my internet to work but to no avail. I got a BelkinF5D7050 v3000 and used the ralink rt71w driver. After the install I had to reboot my system which I did and after rebooting osx discovered my new Usb adapter. With the wireless utility I was able to find my network and connect to it. I entered my wep-key in ASCII. It says it's connected. In network are happening some strange things. When I connect using automatic DHCP I get a IP in the 160.92.x.x range. Even after taking my Iphone with me and setting up the connection manually I'm still Not able to surf. My ISP is Telenet. Anyone got a idea? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199680-belkin-f5d7050-v3/ Share on other sites
Evil_elf
after doing some more research it seems that my Mac gets a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address, which means that the DHCP server is not working. If I enable the DHCP server from my access point will I still be able to connect?? I'm using a Dlink DWL-G700AP...
