smtj
Hi to all: I am new to osx86. I have a notebook which is LENOVO IBM X41 (2525 W7H). I am using iAtkos v5i (10.5.5) with the following settings. PC EFI V9 AppleDecrypt SMBIOS-EFI Air 9.2.0 Kernel ToH APIC Driver Disabler.kext OHR Remove Thermal Kexts Intel SATA Intel Speedstep b Laptop Battery After installation my laptop is working perfectly. But I have no QE/CI enabled. I have tried almost everything on insanelymac.com. The only thing that works for me was "ElliotAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext". But with this kext I got huge mouse artifacts and screen freezing issues etc. I cannot use any other "AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext". Because if I use any other framebuffer, I lost control over the brightness plus I have to use external monitor which I don't want to use. Take a look at the picture of my stock framebuffer plist. If I remove the hi-lighted area, then I have to use the external monitor plus lost brightness control. If I add this hi lighted part in any other framebuffer then I lost QE/CI but I can use internal monitor and I can control screen brightness. If I let this hilighted part remain in framebuffer then I got everything like mouse artifacts, flickering, screen freezing etc plus QE/CI enabled too but only when Elliot’s kext is installed. If Elliot’s kext is not installed then my laptop works good but with no QE/CI enabled and so I cannot use Front Row, VLC, and many more features. So……… Any Idea ? SticMAC™
you can try mine, it works on my Dell GX280 with both the onboard VGA connector and a special DVI plugincard in the PCI-e slot! smtj
you can try mine, it works on my Dell GX280 with both the onboard VGA connector and a special DVI plugincard in the PCI-e slot! thanks SticMAC for coming up for me. I think I didn't make myself clear. The above pic. is my stock framebuffer's plist. I have Elliot's kext. If I load any other "Framebuffer.kext"along with Elliots's kext, lets take yours for example, because it has no lines like hi lighted part, so I have to use an external monitor which I don't want to use. The rest is explained in the first post. IF somebody can explain in a better way that what actually I am trying to say it would be appreciated. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198732-framebuffer-gma-915-or-900/#findComment-1338411 Share on other sites
