Sobeit
While booting from disk, everything is good until I get to the select a language. My mouse doesn't work and my keyboard does not work.. I was following this guide: HP Pavilion m8000n Stock system has been upgraded with a BFG 9600 GT, RAM to 4GB and a Dynex wireless-g pci card. AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ CPU, Asus M2N68-LA motherboard, Realtek ALC888 audio, Realtek RTL8201N LAN (have not tested, using wireless). Installation DVD: iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal FINAL Preliminary Steps: No preliminary steps. Boot up on Installation DVD. Select target disk in Utilities menu->Disk Utility Select partition and change scheme to 1-partition, select MBR Option and format to Mac HFS Journaled, label "Leopard" (or whatever) Do NOT use "case-sensitive" format, or else you will have "boot1: error" messages Quit disk utility Continue with install and select Customize button after selecting "Leopard” target partition for the installation. Select Voodoo 9.5.0 Kernel, Mdevil(sp?) nforce chipset, azalia audio, kext helper b7, Osx86 tools, and whatever other applications you want. Installation went smoothly (approximately 10-12 minutes). Upon booting, use kext helper to install the 10.5.5 seatbelt kext. The voodoo kernel panics upon mounting .dmgs after 10.5.6, but after using the 10.5.5 kext it runs smoothly. For those with a 9600 GT, follow this guide [15] Audio worked out of the box, as well as the Dynex wireless card (was recognized by airport immediately) The first time I booted with disk my mouse and keyboard we're working fine, but i restarted because I needed to backup files. The next time I ran it, mouse and keyboard didn't work. I've tried over 30 times. Know what the problem might be? I was thinking about getting a usb mouse, and keyboard but would much rather not.
