Hello,

I have a Gigabyte (GA-P31-DS3L) motherboard with a Snow Leopard Hackintosh working well apart from the sound. I've tried a number of different kext, but still I have no output devices showing. According to the specs of the motherboard the audio is a "Realtek ALC888 codec, High Definition Audio, 2/4/5.1/7.1 channel, support for S/PDIF In/Out, Support for CD In". I followed the steps on Lifehacker: How to Build a Hackintosh with Snow Leopard, Start to Finish to get my Hackintosh working.

If anyone can help me with the audio that would be great!

Stephen
