Hi folks,

I managed to successfully install OS X on my Amilo PI 2530 notebook.

I know that I will experience permanent issues with my ATI Mobility 2300 HD, I will never get it to work, but as it is not my workstation but just a servicing machine (I have a smaller iBook which I carry with me) it is not a problem.

I've installed the iDeneb distribution of mac os X 10.5.6.

This are my conditions at the moment:

Chipset and processor: WORKING FULLY

USB: WORKING

Graphic Adapter: Working only 1024*768

Ethernet: NOT WORKING.

wifi: NOT WORKING but I know that is a problem with the chipset.

The issues:

1) Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

I know this is somehow working because when I tried to install kalyway one year ago I got it to work.

But I can't get it working now and I've tried to search but can't get right kexts.

2) wifi: if I buy an usb dongle may I get it work overriding the internal wifi incompatibility? I need to get work ethernet or wifi.

So that's it. I know these are common issues for amilo pi 2530 users. But the lack of some threads around the argument is a problem.

I will soon switch to a more reliable configuration (and fully compatible!).

Thanks for the help.
