lkelly2006
Has anyone else had this issue of SL identifying as a PPC when installing Microsoft Silverlight? I'm aware of the workaround to get this app installed but find that unusual that it is showing this. Any thoughts? Solution found below. jimmyvau
Try this thread. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189562 Basically you need to install Netkas' PC EFI 10.4 or later. It will tell SL what processor you actually or the closest Mac equivalent and all should be well. Instructions on http://netkas.org/?p=271. Everything works fine now! Boot file attached: Bootv10.5.zip As always, much thanks and appreciation to Netkas, and jimmyvau for direction!
