dennis5555 Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 Hello, I need help , to install Snow Leopard on my PC. I want to dualboot it with Windows7 but I really don't know what to do. I installed Leopard (iPC 10.5.6) on an older PC which I don't use anymore, but on my new Computer I don't have a clue how to install it, especially, because I have an AMD processor. The only CD that I already got is the iPC 10.5.6 CD So here are my specs: CPU QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 965, 3377 MHz (17 x 199) Motherboard Name MSI 770-C35/C45 (MS-7599) (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN) Motherboard Chipset AMD 770, AMD K10 Graphiccard ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series (1024 MB) (It's the HD 5870) Soundcard ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI Cypress - High Definition Audio Controller Soundcard Realtek ALC888/1200 @ ATI SB750 - High Definition Audio Controller Ethernet-Card Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20) (192.168.1.50) Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197632-need-help-to-install-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is simular to yours: MSI P55 Board, Realtek Audio, Radeon 5850, Core i7 860 I didnt use iPC, but iAtkos. I can help you out if you need it. I am having trouble with graphics, there seem to be no kext for the 5800 series.
