I'm planning out a brand new build, actually the first time I've built a computer from scratch, and the first hackintosh I'm building. I'm going to be using using Conti's MyHack installer to get SL up and running, but I have a question about upgrading to 10.6.2, which, from what I've heard, has native support for the P55 chipset in the kernel. I'm installing 10.6, which, from what I've heard, doesn't. If I'm using a P55 motherboard, will I have to use the "chocolate" kernel offered in the MyHack installer in order to get it running, in order to upgrade to 10.6.2? Or am I able to use the vanilla kernel and get the system running, and upgrade right from there? If I have to use the "chocolate" kernel, will there be complications once I install 10.6.2, or will it be a smooth upgrade?

Forgive me if I'm asking a lot of questions, I'm fairly new to this, and want to be as sure as possible that my hackintosh will work properly

This is the hardware configuration I'm going to be using, if it helps. Please tell me if anything might cause complications, or if there's anything I should watch out for.

Motherboard: Gigabyte P55M-UD2

CPU: Core i7 860

RAM: 8GB Mushkin Blackline DDR3 1333 (4x4GB)

GPU: Zotac GTS 250 1GB

HDD: 2x Western Digital 250GB Caviar Blue (one for SL, one for W7)
